2 quarters of 10 weeks each | 4 classes a week | Online | Fall or Spring start
Are you a current student who's sick of the drama at Miami Ad School? Ready to get outta there before Miami sinks into the ocean along with your money and dreams of an awesome agency job?
We're here to help. Our new transfer program will help students at MAS who are at least partway through the program and are seeking a better experience with better results. And best of all, because of the closures of the Toronto and Atlanta MAS locations, our new transfer program will be free for a limited time.
This is your chance to get back on track. You'll get to work in an ad agency-type environment with real, active creative directors on realistic spec briefs for real clients. From there, you'll finish each campaign under the guidance of a CD and build a complete, agency-ready & DAD-quality portfolio. At the end of the transfer program, you'll debut your portfolios in front of a live agency audience and get help from our in-house recruiters to help you find the kinda job you've been dreaming of.
1. Campaign Development
Art directors, & copywriters work together to identify interesting and relevant human truths, combine them with brand or industry insights, then turn those into creative and captivating big ideas which will act as the foundation for a huge, integreated ad campaign.2. Social & Stunts
Where the Campaign Development class focuses on big, integrated campaigns, this class sets your sights on the smaller stuff. Here art directors & copywriters work together to concept social media campaigns, PR stunts, experiential activations, and whatever else you can dream up.3. Headlines
You’ve got a lot to say and only so much room to say it. Learn the structure and rhythm of all the projects that copywriters are expected to know, from headlines to taglines and every line in between, and how to be concise yet bold when grabbing your audience's attention.4. Campaign Development
That's right, another Camp Dev class. We believe in reps at DAD, so much so that students who start with us in Q1 take this class 6 times. By taking this twice, you get 20 cracks — one a week — at different briefs that could turn into campaigns for your final portfolio.
1. Campaign Assembly
You'll meet 3 times a week and work with real, live agency creative directors to fully blow out the best of the best campaigns and stunts you worked on in your previous Camp Dev classes.2. Creative Tuning
Art directors and copywriters will split up to go work with discipline-specific creative directors who will focus exclusively on the art or copy of the student campaigns.3. Get a Job
Your portfolio gets you the job, but your persistence gets you in the door. Learn how to brand yourself, present your work effectively to agencies, and connect with and/or annoy all the different agency people who will hire you.4. The High Art of Selling
Creative isn’t created until it’s first sold to your boss, your agency, and eventually your client. Learn from a master presenter how to capture the attention of the entire meeting room and sell the holy hell outta your ideas.
You can expect the following over the course of the 2 quarters with us:
A commitment of around 40 hours a week.
Work with partners and work solo.
Daily assignments and attend 4 DAD classes a week for 20 consecutive weeks.
A complete, agency-ready & DAD-quality portfolio.
An invite-only Zoom portfolio debut with top agencies from all over the country to showcase your work, presentation skills, and availability for fire.
Job placement assistance from our in-house recruiters.

People over profit
The biggest reason to come to DAD is we're not going to screw you over. We won't close down unexpectedly. We won't overcharge you and underteach you. We will give you individualized attention and great critique because here we believe your portfolio is our portfolio and we're not in the business of putting out shitty portfolios.Same results for less
We've got all the same contacts that Miami Ad School does. So why pay them almost 2x as much to get the same thing you'd get here? In some cases, many of our students are even getting better jobs than Miami grads. In most cases, our students are getting the same calibur of agency job you'd expect to get coming out of Miami.Quality over quantity
Unlike Miami Ad School, we don't let in everyone who applies. We only want people here who are as committed and talented as you are. We ask a lot of our students and push them hard with real, agency-level feedback, so we need everyone here to want to make the best work possible.Attend where you want
We don't have campus locations all over the country because this is the modern age and we don't need to. Our online program is the exact same as our in-person program, so you don't need to move here to attend DAD. Live wherever the hell you want while you're with us, we don't care.
Wanna talk some things through first before committing your time to DAD? We’re always happy to chat, just smash that link below and hit us up.
A very limited number of students will be accepted into the Nonternship. Due to the expected number of applications, only those considered will receive replies. This program is not intended to be a replacement for portfolio school and in no way would we say this summer session will improve your portfolio enough to compete with a full portfolio school portfolio. Students who enjoy the session and wish to enroll in our full-time program this fall will receive a tuition discount.
